ABOUT US

‘The Women of Lania’ is a group of women born or resident in Lania who come together to celebrate positivity and community spirit. Through their casual and informal gatherings, they discuss and organize lively events that cater both for Lania residents and visitors alike.

The idea of forming ‘The Women of Lania’ was proposed by some of us in 2006 and quickly supported by most of the women in the village. We felt it was important to get together in a group which was positive, neutral and open to all women born or resident in Lania. By holding our informal meetings, collaborating with Lania Community Council and by organising lively activities and events for residents and visitors alike, we felt we could foster community spirit and encourage more people to enjoy the beauty and vibrancy of our village.
